Welcome to New Home Cleaning. By booking our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General Terms

  • Our services are available across Melbourne, Australia.

  • All bookings are subject to availability. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel services due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, staff shortages).

  • Customers must provide accurate information about the property size and condition when booking.

2. Payment & Pricing

  • All quotes are based on the information provided by the customer. Additional charges may apply if the job requires more time or effort than initially estimated.

  • Payment is due before or upon completion of the service.

  • We accept bank transfers, cash, or card payments.

For Builder Cleaning:

  • A deposit may be required for large projects or ongoing contracts.

  • Payment terms for builders/developers can be arranged upon agreement.

For End of Lease Cleaning:

  • If additional services (e.g., carpet steam cleaning, wall washing) are required, they will be quoted separately.

  • No refunds will be provided once the service is completed.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • 24-hour notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a 50% cancellation fee.

  • If we arrive and cannot access the property, a call-out fee may apply.

4. Bond Back Guarantee (End of Lease Cleaning Only)

  • Our Bond Back Guarantee covers cleaning to real estate standards.

  • If the agent/landlord is not satisfied, we will return to rectify the issue within 72 hours, free of charge.

  • The guarantee does not cover damage, excessive stains, or areas requiring repairs.

5. Access to Property

  • The client must provide safe and unobstructed access to the property, including water and electricity.

  • If cleaners are unable to access the site at the scheduled time, a call-out fee may apply.

6. Limitations & Liability

  • We take great care in delivering high-quality cleaning but are not responsible for:

    • Pre-existing damage or wear and tear.

    • Paint, grout, or plaster residue that requires specialized removal.

    • Stains that cannot be removed with standard cleaning products.

  • We are fully insured, but liability is limited to the cost of the cleaning service provided.

7. Complaints & Disputes

  • Any concerns must be reported within 24 hours of the service.

  • We will assess the issue and, if valid, schedule a free re-clean within 72 hours.

  • Refunds are at the discretion of New Home Cleaning and are not guaranteed.

8. Changes to Terms & Conditions

  • We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.
